First PP period- how long does it last for?

I’m not breastfeeding and my PP period just came in 2 days ago pretty heavy but now it’s gone. Is that normal? How long does a pp stay for? Will I be on and off for a while till I get back to normal?

Mine was 4 weeks, but they can be anywhere from 2-8 weeks long, just depends on the person

Typically pp bleeding starts the day you have the baby. Mine lasted 2 days(i had unfortunate circumstances and my son was born via c section and had an infection which is why i only had two days) however for a vaginal birth it can be 7days(maybe shorter depending on your body) or if your like my sister in law it could be like 8 weeks. But if it stops completely then starts back up a week or so later its your normal period
