Do OPKs get gradually darker?

I understand it’s only a positive if the test line is the same or darker than control. But did your tests get gradually darker before positive or just go dark all of a sudden? Mine seem to be darker today but still not positive and I’m getting all the other signs pains and cm since yesterday. Thanks 😊

Mine have zero progression usually. It’s different for everyone and can be different each cycle. Mine go from very negative to boom! Very positive within a day

Mine had no progression. Could just be the brand I used. But it was either super light negative. Then super dark when positive.
