Failed transfers?

Question

For those of you with failed transfers this month, what are your plans for next cycle? What did you ask the doctor about your failed cycle? Are there any changes you’re making with your protocol?

I am going to change clinics and see if they can do some tests to see why the embryo isn’t planting and also maybe give us an idea to why I miscarried. Hopefully a new look on things might make a difference.

I’m now facing a 5th transfer after all 4 previous transfers failed 😔 2 were CPs - one very early with a low HCG of 10 and 1 at 5w3d where my HCG reached almost 6000 💔 I’m in total shock that this is the situation I have found myself in. I’m still with the same clinic but have already changed doctors once. I’m willing to give it 1 more go with them but after that the only 2 options I really have are to consider giving up (even though I’ll still have 4 embryos left after the 5th transfer) or look at changing to another clinic where I can transfer my embryos to but that will still come with a range of additional expenses for new consults, tests, counselling etc. My doctor has prescribed Metformin and Clexane for my next transfer but as you can imagine, my belief that this can work is pretty low at this stage. I’m not really much help because I don’t even know what to do myself...

This was our second failed transfer. We’re getting a second opinion for my husband from another urologist, then if we don’t get resolution will most likely look at embryo adoption. My heart breaks knowing the chance of us having a biological child is dwindling, but if we cant have that I think a snowflake baby would be the next best option for us.

My clinic said that they aren’t to worried at this point and wouldn’t do anything different going into my 3rd transfer. Yes we have had bad luck but it’s not completely unusual. I have been given the option of having another sit down with out consultant and running more tests but I feel like that will just take up more presious time. It won’t be untill July that we can transfer as we have to wait for misscarrge and hcg levels to then get back to 0.

after my 1st transfer my protocol same. Just transfer date was 2 days earlier. Got a BFP for 2nd , didnt end well but i will stick to the same protocol for 3rd transfer.
