Does anyone else hate the baby name they picked?

I guess hate is a strong word, I just feel like the name we picked is not the right name for our baby and my husband won’t let me change it again because we already changed it once. 😭 
I don’t want to be stuck with this name but I feel bad because I originally agreed to it. 💔

If you are that unsure / unhappy with the name I would definitely express that to your husband. And then maybe wait on settling with a name until then end... I won’t pick a name for sure, for sure until baby is born. Until then I play around with names but I have a top one but won’t settle on it till the very end. Just in case I change my mind or I find something I love more. ❤️

After 2 being named already before they were born, I have decided to pick a couple we like and wait to name him when we actually meet him & see his face and then we will name him what feels like a right fit for him . Just a thought!  But technically in my book  your not actually changing his name

See if your partner will agree to making a 3 /2 name list and you both decided between the options once baby is born and u get a good look at them

If you haven’t had your baby yet, it’s totally fine to change the name! Do it now. It’ll be much harder to do it after the baby is born. I know people have all sorts of arrangements to determine how to name their kids, but I firmly believe that everyone should be comfortable with the name. We named our son after my husband’s late father, and while that wasn’t my ideal choice (it’s complicated), I knew it was super important to my husband. We agreed on a middle name for him. Then we had decided boys and girls names for our second baby, but when we found out that we’re expecting a girl, he changed his mind about the first name that we both had agreed on. That’s fine! It happens because you’re moving from theory to something more concrete. We just reopened that conversation and found some new ideas. We ended up going with the middle name we had chosen, and I chose the middle name. My husband wasn’t a super fan at first, but he agrees that he’s had more of a say, so he’s compromising here. Don’t let your partner shut down this conversation if the name bothers you. Maybe sit on it for a little bit if you do have time and revisit it.

Girl, no! I still love the name we chose and I always will. If you feel really strongly you should speak up. Your opinion counts, and if it changed the so what, it changed! He/she isn’t born yet, now is the time to have these discussions. Good luck!

If the roles were reversed and he was unsure, I bet he’d hope you would consider a change. Maybe he’ll reconsider if he thinks about it that way. In my opinion your child’s name is SO important. It would be awful to not absolutely love it.

Have you guys announced it to people? I don’t see the big deal about coming up with another name. I told my husband our children don’t have names until they’re printed on the birth certificate. We have agreed on a name for our son but I’ll still randomly throw out names for us to consider.

I changed my sons name the day after I had him. I had to tell the nurses I picked a different name so they could change it on paper work lol I just looked at him and felt like he was a Micah. 🤷🏻‍♀️ in my opinion you never know how you really feel about a name until you pair it with your lil one.

I literally had a breakdown a few days ago over my baby’s name. My partner wants a junior, but I Hate his name. From the first to the middle to BOTH his last names. I just think they’re ugly, and I don’t want to name my son something I truly dislike.. however my partner is such an AMAZING man. I mean, he is really the best man I could have ever chosen.(Thank You God) so I feel like he deserves a junior, I would surely want my son to be like his father. I just cannot get used to his name. Smh. I’m just going to wait until our son is born and decide, because I’ve stressed myself so much about it.
