I have a 4 year old and a 3 month old. My 4 year old is really smart and independent and loves attention and she always has to be doing something and burning the endless energy she has. I'm having trouble getting her ( my 4 yr old) to care about her new brother.

Other kids her age I see have so much love for their younger siblings and comfort them when they cry, whereas she doesn't even turn her head. I have tried asking if she wants to help and she says no (I'm not going to push her). The baby and I will play games with her and she is happy then. She asked for a sibling, we provided and now she has no interest. She did have a jealousy stage which she got over I just really need advice on getting her to be concerned or just care about the baby.

Will she ever care?
