Powder formula foam?!?

Any tricks on how to get powder formula not so foamy?!? We just switched from ready to feed to powder & I hate how foamy it is?!? I’ve even made his bottles in advance thinking they’ll settle.... not really working

I've found that if I swirl the bottle it's not as foamy. I pre make a few bottles for over night feedings and put them in the fridge and they aren't foamy when I get them.

How far in advance are you making the bottles? I try to let the bottle sit in the fridge for at least 6 hours after I make it. I'll make day's worth the night before right before heading to bed and there's zero foam for the middle-of-the-night feeding. (Similac Pro-Total Comfort, as there's likely a difference between brands and types)

I always like twisted my wrist to shake it instead of just shaking it. Keeps it from getting in the nipple too

I swirled the bottle instead full on shake and it seemed to help a little. It never bothered my baby though since most of the foam went to the other end once he started drink or it eventually cleared up.
