When to look for daycare?

I’m 14 weeks pregnant now, so I’m almost to the 4 month mark. When do people usually start actually making appointments to check out and tour daycares? My sister said she started at 4 months.

There are a ton of daycares around my area, but many of those are at the top of my price range, and most of them are likely to have wait lists.

Soo do I start now? In two weeks? What did you all do?
