Moving close to due date?

Question

Has anyone ever moved to a different state or city the month before they were due?? 
Did you prepare by seeing an OB in the new area and then was the transition okay? 
Would you have rather stayed for the birth and moved with a newborn?

What did you decide i moved at 35 weeks it became such a struggle to find a dr no one wanted to take me on so late i been driving bk and fourth for appointments now... 5 hr drive 😣

Personally I’d rather move while pregnant than with a newborn! Especially if you can visit to get established as a patient and find a pediatrician. I just wouldn’t want to worry about unpacking necessary stuff while caring for a newborn. Neither will be easy, and both probably have pros and cons. But you can do it! And it will be a funny story to tell your kiddo one day...

We sis this - stayed for the birth with the OB we used throughout the pregnancy, then we moved 1,500 Miles when she was 2 1/2 months old - after all of those frequent baby appts.
