3rd trimester ultrasound?

Went to my appointment today (27 weeks) and was told after the next appointment they want to schedule another ultrasound. My doc wasn’t sure why (ultrasounds are done in a separate office)
What are some reasons you’ve been given for an ultrasound in your third trimester?

Measurement, if your uterus measures small or large. To see if baby is breech or head down. Although it’s typically a growth scan

I have to have one around 29/30 weeks to check if my placenta has moved up because it was a little too close to the cervix at my anatomy scan

I’ve had one ultrasound for a growth scan at 31 weeks because I have hypothyroid. And I have another one scheduled at 35 weeks for the same thing.

Checking for head down position and adequate growth percentile. Also checking fluid levels and placenta grade.

I’m going to need one when I’m 28 weeks then 32 weeks, I guess because I’m plus size and they want to get more accurate measurements since I might look farther ahead than I really am🤷‍♀️
