SHOULD I FIND OUT THE GENDER?!

This will be my FIRST baby and I’m super anxious to find out what I’m having but also think it would be a good idea for it to be a surprise.. what do you think?

I found out with my first baby and waited until delivery with my second. Personally I enjoyed waiting more. Was it hard sometimes to wait? Yeah, but it was also a lot of fun.

If you’re anxious about something specific, like if you’re a carrier for Hemophilia, then it might be good to find out the gender so you can either mentally prepare yourself for it if you have a boy or ease your stress if you have a girl. Otherwise you shouldn’t be anxious! Both genders are a blessing, especially if this is only your first! I personally love finding out the gender early so that I can shop for clothes and pick out decor for the nursery, and it was still a complete and wonderful surprise when the doctor told us the sex at 19 weeks rather than at birth. My sister has 4 kids and she’s always preferred waiting until birth. I’d weigh the pros and cons with the father and decide whatever works best for you as a couple.

I waited until delivery! It was amazing hearing my husband yell “It’s a boy!!!!” He was soooo excited and it was such an amazing moment after pushing for 2.5 hours.

I'm 33 weeks and don't know what I'm having. I feel like it will be worth it in thd end to wait. I don't have a gender preference so that makes it easier. I just haven't bought a ton of clothes so that I can buy them after.
