When did you start getting morning sickness?

I’m getting nervous that I haven’t gotten the tell-tale pregnancy sign of morning sickness. Currently 5 weeks 3 days..

First of all, plenty of women never have morning sickness. In fact I’d say about half of my friends never felt nauseated (I’m jealous). For me, with my first, I felt great up until 6w1d and thought maybe I’d escaped too, but then 6w2d the nausea hit me like a ton of bricks out of nowhere (literally the day before I’d meal prepped all these veggie-laden meals that were super nutritious and then the next day I couldn’t even think about vegetables without vomiting). With my second pregnancy it came on a little slower and never got so severe (thank god, cause chasing a 1.5 year old while feeling like crap is no fun), but my first day with some nausea was 5w5d and it built from there. I also know women whose morning sickness didn’t start until weeks 7, 8, or even 9. My SIL had no nausea with her first two and then terrible morning sickness with her third (all three healthy pregnancies), so not only is every woman different, but every pregnancy is too. 
You are still really early, so you may or may not get morning sickness in the coming weeks, but  neither getting it nor the lack of nausea indicates anything is wrong with your baby. Congratulations and good luck!

I’m 33+5 & never once did I experience morning sickness or nausea. I have to admit, I was worried at first, but I learned to love it. Others complained about being sick all the time, not being able to eat, feeling nauseous & I didn’t have any of those symptoms. My doctor told me some people’s bodies just handle the influx of hormones better than others. I’ve had a healthy pregnancy & not being sick never indicated anything wrong with my baby.

I never threw up in any of my pregnancies (this is my third). This one I’ve had on and off nausea but nothing severe

I never got it with our son except for 1 time in the 9 month. With our daughter I was pretty much sick the whole trimester starting at 7 weeks and then off an on the rest. With our third pregnancy I start morning sickness around the 7th week also and am still getting sick into my second trimester. Every pregnancy and every person is different!

I was 7/8 weeks but it wasn’t very bad. Then ramped up between 13-15 and now has settled back down.

Not everyone gets morning sickness so don’t get worried just over that. I didn’t have it at all with my first, with this baby it started around 7-8ish weeks.

Not everyone experiences morning sickness 🤷🏽‍♀️ some women never get it and other women don’t have it until second or even third trimester
