High HCG!?

Question

so im supposed to be 5 weeks 2 days according to my LMP. I had my blood drawn today and my HCG level was 6,075... is that high? my husband thinks its really high and has convinced himself we're having twins because of the number... but you really cant tell if your having multiples by hcg numbers right??

At 5 weeks, mine was 19,000.  I just had an ultrasound and only one baby.  High HCG can be associated with a higher risk of chromosomal abnormality, but it also just depends on the pregnancy.

My HCG was super high with my first. The dr even told me over the phone she thought it was twins, but we had just one! I think levels vary widely from person to person. When’s your first ultrasound?

So I don’t know if your numbers are high however mine were high with my twins. Not the actual number but the tripling, quadrupling of the numbers

No im 5 weeks and 5 days and my hcg is 47,195 but they only see one baby.
