Will my tummy always look like this

Had 1 baby. I'm hoping it tones up after I work out... why was I one of the unlucky ones 😭 I hope someone has some reassuring news... so will I always look like this? I'm almost 5 months pp with 10 more pounds to lose.

You’re not one of the unlucky ones. Hundreds of women would die to look like that just to have a baby. You are lucky your body created, protected, and birthed a precious life. That being said, yes working out and lots of cardio should help but you have to be consistent with it.

My stomach looked like that minus the piercing. It eventually went back to “tight skin” over time. Don’t rush the process but still stay active and healthy. Give your body time it’s still healing and contracting. You’re lucky you don’t have much to tone up. You’ll be fine.

Unfortunately, yes. You can tone the muscles underneath it but there’s no magic science to shrinking back stomach skin that’s stretched from pregnancy. No amount of expensive creams will help either, it might moisturize the skin or the added collagen will make it seem softer but at the end of the day this is all due to genetics. 
I’m almost 1 month pp with my third son & my stomach has looked like this every single time. I can tone up & drop as much weight as I want, but even going from 190lbs to 115lbs postpartum I still had the saggy skin stomach. My mother had it, all my aunts, my grandma etc. 👌🏻Same with my horrid saggy boobs 😞

You look good, give yourself some time! Youre only 5 months pp and it takes like 18 months for your body to fully recover.

Stay hydrated and stay active. It should go back to normal. But just remember if it doesn't, your body did a most amazing thing! You created and carried and new life into this world and the appearance of your stomach is proof of how powerful you truly are. Just look at what you were willing to do for the baby you loved so unbelievably hard before you ever even met.

My stomach looked like that after having my second child. I am now 19 months pp and my stomach is starting to look normal again.

It’s all about genetics. It will probably improve a bit but my friends who had your issue didn’t go to back to right skin.
To tighten the skin you can do laser, Venus Legacy for example can help a lot.
If you want to try, I read that rubbing coconut oil can help.

Possibly diastasis recti? I have this, when your abdominal muscles never came back together completely. My abdomen looks similar and I'm trying to do exercises to close it. Sometimes it seems we will never be the same again, but there may be something you can do to improve it. Thank you for sharing ❤️

I am exactly in the same boat. I am 5 months pp with 10lbs to lose and my stomach also looks exactly like this. Only this was my second child. My first I went right back to normal. Here to hoping right there with you, momma!

I'd say so. I looked like that and now this is me 14 months post partum (ignore the weird lines from my clothes) I still have a little pudge but most went away this was after my second.
