My boyfriends (of 8 months) ex’s mother is OBSESSED w him. She texts him monthly, sometimes more often, about the most pointless things (asking if he’s going to concerts, where he gets his car e-checked etc.) He replies and is nice bc she has done a lot for him in the past. She never asks about me, but she did send him a mean message about our relationship when we first started dating. In her most recent text, she said she misses him and they “had so many plans for this summer”. He didn’t reply. Her daughter hasn’t reached out to my bf since they ended things and she has a whole new bf who she seems very happy with! I just think it’s soooo weird, am I wrong??
