Any cosmetologists on here?!

Question

I had been coloring my hair black/dark brown for a while! Since being pregnant I haven’t colored my hair in months and now my roots are medium brown and the rest is still very dark. Any recommendations on how I can remove the color /lighten the colored hair? Or a style that I could get it colored to start to transition to my more natural color? Thanks

L’Oréal colourista colour fading shampoo. I don’t normally recommend store bought shampoo but this will help to fade out the box dye. It’s going to be a long process for you to get away from the box colour without ruining your hair. You can also wash with baking soda. Just be sure to use a really good conditioner to keep your hair feeling nice as baking soda will dry out your hair.  Be careful and good luck. Don’t try to colour it lighter yourself. Go to a salon.
