For those of you already parents - which came 1st?

Curious to know which way around is most common? Did your waters break and THEN contractions? Or did contractions begin first & your waters go later? 🤔

I had contractions first. I went into the hospital and was already 7cm, the doctor had to break my water.

For my first pregnancy, my water broke and no contractions. I ended up having to be induced 12 hours after and baby came another 12 hrs after that. My mom has her water break with no contractions when I was born too! Can’t wait to see what happens with my second baby!

My water broke at midnight on the dot, but I didnt have any contractions so I was put on pitocin at the hospital around 9am and that started my labor.

When the sac is left to break on its own, most of the time it will not happen until the woman is pushing. My babies head was showing before my water broke.

I had a scheduled induction. I had no idea, but when I got there I was at 1.5. Then he broke my damn water & I immediately said "You mother fucker 😡" The pain didn't start until that moment & I ended up having a 27 hour labor & having to have an emergency C section, because I didn't dilate past 9.5 😔

i Was having contractions , i went to the hospital, i was 3cm & i was gonna get sent home , a couple mins later my water broke & i got admitted.
