Deaths in Dominican Republic

You may or may not have seen this in the news but recently three people have died mysteriously in the Dominican Republic at the same resort, and at another resort a woman has been beaten and left for dead (she made it but is a mess).   You can look it up easily- I can’t post pics of the article as I haven’t updated the app in two years 😬
DR says its a complete coincidence and it is safe there. Their police aren’t really taking this seriously. What do you think?
