Does your baby sleep with the door closed?

Question

I just moved my 7 month old in to her own bedroom and I’m not sure if I should keep her door open or closed at night? 
Should I keep it closed until we go to bed? Or all night or?

For fire safety, closed is safer. It can prevent a fire outside of the room from spreading into the room and would keep most of the smoke out. I’d close the door personally.

My husband is a fire fighter and it’s safer to keep it closer. Therefor my daughters have always slept with closed doors

I keep my son’s closed. There’s a monitor in there, so I know how he’s doing. Plus it dampens the noise from the rest of the house.

I keep it closed but... she’s in the same hallway as me.... and I have a monitor in there also

When our 2 year old was in a crib we kept the door half closed. At 17 months when we put him in a toddler bed we started shutting the door about a week or two after him getting used to sleeping in it.

I kept my sons door closed because he wakes for any noise and also if he happens to climb out of his crib in the middle of the night he can’t escape and go down the stairs.

Closed always closed .. I dont want any of our pets getting in there to suffocate him while he sleeps .. and even if not I feel more safe with it closed
