What were your signs of postpartum depression?

Question

I believe I may be developing it. I want to know what your signs were if you don’t mind sharing with me? Also, how many months postpartum were you? How long did it last? How did you stop it? What did it feel like? 
Why do people get it? I feel horrible 😢

Very irritable about everything. Even baby getting on my nerves and I know I love my baby more than anything. Crying over dumb stuff... just feeling apathetic about life and losing interest in normal things.. being anxious about a lot with baby...  I talked with my ob and she put me on medication and it helped tremendously but I didn’t like the side effects so she changed it to another and we will see how well it works but she told me postpartum depression doesn’t last forever and I won’t be on the medication forever.. that she will wean me off when it’s appropriate. Talk to your ob! They are there to help with this sort of thing. Mine told me to call whenever and not to suffer in silence

I was straight up irrationally angry at the smallest things randomly for the first month. I still have my moments at 3m where I fly off the handle for no reason, but because we know what it is now, we handle it better
