Did you poop during labor/birth?

I just wanna see how common it is 😅 it’s such a big fear of mine that I’ll piss or shit myself in front of my boyfriend 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

I think I did but I'm not sure... the nurses never told me. They just quickly wiped me down and changed the plastic thing under me. Honestly at that point you literally won't care about anything else but the pain.

Just me when you in labour you dont give a shit  I'm quite thing about my body,but boyo I didnt care my top came off and my bra because I was just too hot!!!,but I pooed myself loads of times but that's because the midwife wouldnt listen to me when. I said I need to to go to the loo xxx

Yes with my first during a water birth and they just scoop it out and with my second on the bed. Honestly you will not care, I worried too but by that point you won’t be bothered. My partner just laughed he still says now, it’s not what birthing partners are concerned with either. You’ll be fine and if your boyfriend loves you he’ll get over it xxx

It's normal and most nurses or doctors won't tell you because they don't want you to focus on that. they want you to focus on getting baby out!!! Also don't worry about what your bf thinks because he is going to see a lot more poop and pee from baby then you!!

No I didn’t but I peed during a terrible contraction. It doesn’t even matter, you’re in so much pain and trying to focus on getting through each contraction. When I pushed I was pushing so hard I thought my organs would come out of my vagina. In the end I didn’t poop but even if I had it wouldn’t have mattered, it’s such an intense moment to push out your baby. Lots of gross warm liquids and blood come out with the baby, it’s not a clean process.

I did not poop with my first, but definitely pooped with my second. I noticed when the nurses wiped me and my sister who watched the delivery said she noticed it. They say if you poop that you’re pushing with the right muscles 🤷🏻‍♂️

I had to get a c-section but I worried about this! Lol no one will care and apparently they clean it up so fast that he may not even see if you did.

Pretty much everybody poops (the people who think they didn’t just had really stealthy nurses 😉)! It’s totally not a big deal in the moment and your care team won’t even mention it! It just helps to make more room for baby (plus you get to postpone your first post-birth poop, lol).
