Should your SO /husband help with house hold duty's like dishes sweeping mopping just cleaning in general. If he is the only one who works and you're pregnant or a stay at home mom.

My SO don't think he should since he pays the bills ( not much at all a month ). I asked for help with dishes multiple times. He says it's my job because he works but some days I'm just to sore to do them being 38 weeks pregnant and high risk plus a ftm. I buy the food for the house he just pays bills he makes a mess and i clean it up. He leaves dishes all over the place and o have to pick them up. He does take the trash out but I have helped do so. He might wash a few dishes out to use in the moment if I haven't done them yet but that's about it. I clean the rest of the house most the time he helped out a little today but that's about it.

Update: let me clear things up. I worked until I found out I was pregnant and I worked more hours than him and didn't complain at all. He works 4 1/2 to 5 hours a day 6 days a week and it's a easy job. He cleans FedEx factory mainly just floors and trash so nothing horrible. Then he comes home makes lunch if im not home to make it and takes a nap from 2/230 to 7pm every day. I'm normally out with my mom helping with kids and running around to make sure we have all we need. He does cook more than me but that's because he's picky and wants it done his way. He don't clean after him self at all.
