Spinal tap nerve damage??

So I had my baby 6/1 via csection. I was supposed to have a vbac but turned out the cord was wrapped around her neck twice. Anyways, I had to have a Spinal Tap and the anesthesiologist was at my back for at least 15min. He kept hitting nerves on all sides left, middle, right till finally he got it. Now I'm a week out and my left side has been going numb. Started in my leg yesterday, then again today when I use the stairs and now tonight while cooking dinner it traveled from my left leg to my left arm up my chest and down the left side. I have feeling back now but something tells me that is NOT normal. Anyone else have a spinal and experienced these things? Please lmk!
