Is it wrong to not throw a birthday party for my 5 year old?
My daughter is turning 5 on Wednesday. I usually throw her a birthday party every year. She has been very very very bad the past year. Yes, for a whole year, she has been a child from hell. She talks back, she hits people, she is just straight up disrespectful. We have tried every type of discipline and every suggestion we've gotten from friends and family. She is really just a bad kid. We did not raise her like this. It came out of nowhere. She will go out of her way to misbehave. She's also very very ungrateful. She constantly asks for new toys even when she has an entire playroom full of toys she never plays with. When we say no she tells us we are the worst parents and she doesn't love us anymore. We try to do things with her, like taking her to the park or to the beach, and she will tell us that it was boring and the worst day ever. She constantly complains about every little thing and loves to argue. I have never met a child as rude and mean as my daughter. I really don't think she deserves a birthday party. Why reward her when she is the definition of a rotten child? Her father says he would feel bad not giving her a party but idk...nothing is ever good enough for this kid. I need some advice/input. 🥴
