Pull ups at night for potty training?

Today was our first day potty training and he did pretty well. I put him to bed in a diaper but wondering if that will teach him the diaper thing again.. should I get him some pull ups or are diapers okay at night? I have a ton left tbh

Diapers are fine for sleep. Night training is developmental and usually comes way after Day toilet training.

When I potty trained I used diapers for naps and night, I just told her every time that those are only in case she forgets to go potty while she’s sleeping and took them off right away when she woke up telling her we don’t need them anymore because now she’s awake and won’t forget. We never had issues and now that she’s “trained” I don’t have to repeat myself anymore. I use pull-ups for overnight now, just because they are so much easier, but essentially those are diapers as well 😉
