What do babies wear?

My baby girl is 3 weeks old and I feel like I have to keep her in pajamas all the time to keep her warm. Is this true or can she wear short sleeves and dresses and shorts?

The recommendation from doctors is one layer more than you (thin layers).

I left her in sleepers for the first couple weeks at home (our house is cool) but then I realized she was sweaty when I’d pick her up, so now we do short sleeves and shorts and I keep a light blanket (Muslin) with us in case she starts to feel cool or we go in somewhere cold

Your baby experiences the same level of hot or cool you do. If you’re comfortable in shorts, she’ll be too! Our house can get up to 80 and our four week old is happy hanging in her diaper haha!

My doctor said if I'm clod, he's cold, if I'm hot, he's hot. Just go by your temp! I put my little one in sleepers or onsies with a light blanket.

I did sleepers the first month in May but it was overcast and it was easy. For the past week we’ve been in rompers and naked cause it’s been so hot!

I keep my one month old in Onesies during the day and pj at night. And when I feed him I strip him down to a diaper so we are skin to skin

Mines 3wks and wears onesies and pants.  I live in the northeast so long or short sleeve onesies based on if it's 55 or 75🙄

My daughter lives in rompers, I'm always out and about so it's very very hot where I live. It was 115 this weekend, and she's a sweater!
