Renewing weddings vows?

Do people still do this? My husband and I have been married almost 5 years now and I've been thinking about what it would be like to renew our vows on our 10 year anniversary. We had a small wedding we were both so young I was 17 he was 20. I've been thinking how nice it would be to have a bigger one and have our kids apart of it. Is this still a thing?

My husband and I eloped, and none of our family was there. We couldn't afford a big wedding, and wanted to get married quickly. We regret that our friends and family couldn't be there, so we're hoping that we can renew our vows at our 5th or 10th anniversary, and have a proper celebration with them.

Yes its a thing. The parents of my husband’s friend renewed their vows for their 50th wedding anniversary at a church & then had a reception a few yrs back. Beyonce & jay z renewed their vows semi-recently 😊

I've considered it but dont know if I would actually follow through with it. We got married, spur of the moment at the courthouse and didnt tell anyone for a few weeks. Our only witness was the clerical worker who helped us file for our marriage license lol. That was 14 years ago! We are about to have our 2nd baby and I figured I would revisit the idea around our 25th anniversary, when the kids are considerably older.

My husband and I had a small intimate ceremony and then found out 3 weeks later we were pregnant with our first. Together 7 years married 2 this October. We plan to renew our vows at our 10 year anniversary and invlude our kids. Our first wedding included two of my three stepkids and next go we want them all there and both our kids. I also didnt wear a traditional dress and we would like to include more people as a lot of people felt left out and we felt bad.

My husband and I are planning on doing this in 2 years for our 10th anniversary. I wasn’t terribly young - 23. He was 20. We will probably go somewhere in the Caribbean and renew our vows on our own... thought about inviting everyone from our wedding, but it seems excessive for a vow renewal. We had a rough first few years of marriage and are in such a good place now... we want to celebrate that.
