If you exfoliate with a body scrub and a body brush it helps alot and supposedly lemon juice helps but thats also like an acid so if you want i guess you could try that.

I don’t know too many suggestions but I stopped shaving as regularly, maybe once a week or so instead and it stopped being dark.
