Question for you mommas. My baby, who is 8 weeks, has always taken a bottle just fine and is breast fed. My husband can give him a bottle during the day and he’s good for 2-3 hours. But- if he gets up with him at night and feeds him, then my son is wide awake instead of getting sleepy and going back to bed like he usually does. I always have to go back in there and let him nurse for 5 minutes or so and then he falls asleep. What can we do different? I will have to be at work during the night when I go back and my husband will feed him at night, and I’m so nervous he’s just not going to go back to bed and cry all night after feedings. Then I’ll come home to both of them with no sleep :( do any of you have any tips or tricks for getting my son to know he can sleep after a bottle and doesn’t need me? I think it’s a comfort thing but I want my husband to be able to help too :(
