I took a herpes test with a rash that I had but it was only on my butt nothing in the genital area. The rash went away with a anti fungal cream. A week later I got BV and now I have some bumps by my anus. I went to the doctor and she said that they look like herpes but she not sure. I explained to her I had no pain or itching. She swabbed me to check just in case. Shortly after I received my results for the first test throu a call which was a blood test and it came back negative for HSV 1 and 2. Its possible I can receive positive results a week later from the last test?
