If I invite 1 do I have to invite both? Please read

Just looking for some unbiased input. I’m putting together a small/short girls “trip” (like 1 night stay out of town about 30 minutes with maybe 4 friends) for my birthday. I thought about inviting 1 of my SILs, but then wondered if I would have to invite the other.... 
Background: SIL A is my husband’s brother’s wife. We have both been in the family about 10 years and are fairly close, she lives in the city we’d be staying in for the “trip”. SIL B is my husband’s sister, we don’t have a bad relationship (did at one time, but has been reconciled) but are not close. My husband has a similar relationship with his sister, not bad, but not close. He’s very close to his brother. Sister lives about 2 1/2 hours from where we’d be going. 
I was planning to invite SIL A, but would rather not invite B... thoughts?

If you don't have a bad relationship, why not just invite her? You're going to ruin your relationship with her and possibly your brother if you don't. You're deliberately wanting to leave her out of a girl trip, despite having a decent relationship. Not cool.

I’d invite them both. Who knows? Maybe SIL B won’t come. It’s the right thing to do, unless she has harmed you in some way.

It's your birthday.  You can invite or not invite who you want. Yes she may get mad but in the end it is up to you who you want there. As adults we should be able to understand if someone wants to do something without us.

Put yourself in the situation. If either Sister-in-law had an outing and invited the other SIL but not you, would you be okay with it? And there is your answer. I only have 1 SIL but I wouldn’t get offended if she didn’t invite me along. We aren’t close at all just civil and I probably wouldn’t invite her along in a personal situation but she would be super offended due to her selfish personality if I didn’t invite her. So it’s a huge toss up. 🤷🏻‍♀️

She’s gonna feel a way about it but it’s your birthday isn’t it? It’s your day, don’t feel forced to invite someone you dont want to just for diplomacy. It sounds like you guys are cool but not close enough for a girls trip so i dont see the problem
