My little one is only 2 weeks old and we are nursing on demand. She was following an eating pattern until a couple of days ago and then went all over the place haha. Lately she’s been falling asleep nursing but not unlatching when she’s done. She doesn’t give any cues when she’s done (hands are always relaxed, etc). Typically she will eat for about 10-15 minutes but when she falls asleep, we go about 30+ minutes where she’s latched but still suckling. Last night we both fell asleep nursing and 92 minutes later (I use a timer), she was still latched 🙄 At what point can I determine she’s done and unlatch her myself? My boobie starts to tickle after so long 😂
