I got fired...
So I started a new job I made them aware of my pregnancy from the day I started... they said it was no problem... I had a few days off due to morning sickness and emergency scans due to seizures in my muscles and abdomen area... they said I needed to do what’s best and it was not a problem. It was a sales role and I’m not very salesy, the target was 3/4 sales a day however we weren’t targeted being a new group until we passed probation but they’d like us to get 2 ish a day, I was getting between 1-2 but wasn’t good at objection handling (annoying people into a sale) as it’s not in my nature I was given a plan to help me and it never went ahead but the rest of my group got sales coaching 2 hours every day and were hitting targets of 3-10 a day but I came back to work and an hour in my manager says we’re terminating your probation as your performance isn’t where it needs to be my argument is but nobody has coached me nobody has given me extra help the way all my other colleagues have been given? I really think it’s pregnancy the way it was done and worded and handled seems as if it’s because I’m pregnant and haven’t passed my probation? Is there anything I can do about this as I feel I’ve been treated unfairly...
