is your toddler potty trained already?

whats your trick ive bought the seat and told her and showed her and shown cartoon where they potty? help im expecting #2 and dont want to be changing 2 kids diapers

We did the Oh Crap Potty Training method and I highly recommend it. We did it at 20 months and have been smooth sailing since about Day 6. 
Whatever you do, consistency is your best friend.

We potty trained our son at 34 months. He was 2 weeks away from starting preschool and they required potty training, so it was like a boot camp for him.

Honestly I was the same way ( have a toddler and expecting) but the only thing that made my son go was him having to wear underwear and after he wet them I wouldn’t take them off asap (might sound a bit harsh but it actually worked SUPER quick) he absolutely hated being in wet clothes. Happy to say he was potty trained within a week. 👏 👏

We read a ton of books on it (kid books for her), talked about it non stop and how it’s what big kids do, got her a little potty we put in the living room, did a sticker chart and a $2 paw patrol toy after every 5 pottys. She was totally trained in 2 days. Just gotta figure out how to incentive your kid and what will work for them! I didn’t want to bribe but she got so excited about her new toys. Also went straight to undies, not pull-ups.

Yeah we gave him treats, toys or stickers when he went and "spanked" his butt when he peed on the floor. It was just a light tap. Only did it twice. he wears underwear in the car and everything now!

It will happen when little one is ready. You can’t force it. My son has been potty trained for like 2 months now and all I did was give him the opportunity to go potty in the toilet. He loves his urinal and peeing on his grandudes trees and grass. It helped that his 2 best friends are 4 and already potty trained and he wants to be like them.

Mine had no interest in a potty at all I brought all the gadgets you could think of and in the end he just wanted to stand up at the toilet and wee like daddy 🤣 and that's what he does.

Potty trained day and night since end of March ( he is 2 and a half) Sorry no tips ... but he practically did it over night. I gave birth to baby number 2 at the end of March and a few days after coming home he was dry over night and wanted to use a potty in the day, so I didn’t even need to try! Not sure if he was trying to impress with us having a new baby. 
What I would have done if I was doing it tho  would have a sticker chart and leave a potty out in the room and let them wander with no nappy on. Lots of praise when they have sat on it, even if they didn’t do anything on it :)

We did the 3 day method. I set a timer on my phone for ever 20 mins for her to go sit n try. She 1 piece of a rocket candy for just sitting day 1. We did no underwear no diaper no pants. Day 1 we had a few accident a few crys about not want to go by day 2 she walking and sitting on the potty at the sound of the timer without my say so only 1 accident by end of day 3 she was going on her own without timer. She 1 to 3 peices of rocket candies each time she went. That only lasted 1.5 weeks though then candies stopped and she is fully trained except at nights
