BRCA gene and endometriosis?

Hey so I’ve been wanting to get tested for the BRCA gene because my grandmother had breast cancer and I would just like to be aware of my chances for developing breast or ovarian cancer. That being said, how is the process? I also have endometriosis (fully diagnosed with surgery and everything). Could this increase my likelihood of getting ovarian, endometrial etc cancers?

I recently got tested and tested positive for BRCA 2. However, I do not have endrometriosis. The BRCA testing is just a blood test and meeting with a genetic counselor. Depending on your results and what you want to do about it, they will refer you to other doctors. The percentage to develop breast cancer is 80% with BRCA and the percentage for ovarian is 25%. Due to this I chose to have a partial hysterectomy that removes my uterus and tubes (On August 12th). I am also choosing to have a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery (In September). After this, both percentages drop significantly to 5%.
