Masturbation vs sex?

Anyone here masturbate more than you have sex with your SO? I masturbate probably 3 times a week and I have sex with my husband maybe once a month. Sometimes every other month. 
I've never really thought about it being odd until I saw something about how people have sex like twice a week on average?! My husband and I never talk about sex so I assume he has no issue.
Anyone else like this or am I just odd?

Is your husband ok with once a month or once every other month? Honestly to me that is odd but I guess every couple is different.

We were the same til we started ttc. Now we BD basically just during my ovulation time. We have opposite work schedules so it’s hard for us to both be in the mood around the same time lol.

The lack of communication might be why you guys only have sex once a month or so. To some people that is okay, but if you’re wanting more, then it might help having conversations about what you both like so there isn’t a lack of intimacy. In my opinion, once your SO figures out how to get you off properly then you’ll want them to do it to you rather than preferring yourself. Either way it’s not a problem unless you feel like it is.
