Is this normal?

My 8.5 month old still nurses every 2.5 hours... I'm not sure if he does it at night cause I've learned not to look at the clock anymore! 😅 If he's down for a nap or bedtime he wakes up around that 2.5 hour mark... He's still not big on eating solids, so it's mainly breast milk. He's also never been one for long nursing sessions, they've always been 5-7 minutes since birth. Unless he falls asleep on the boob, then he'll continue to nurse for however long he stays attached. I try to get him to nurse longer but he's not having any of it. I have a strong flow so maybe that's why he doesn't nurse as long?
