How to get a breastpump trough Tricare?

Hi there,
I literally NEVER use Tricare so I have no idea where to go or what to do. I have a prescription from my midwife to get a breastpump. Where do I go from here? Can someone please help me?

If you’re not near a base, call tricare and get information on what pump you can get and where you can get it from.

Your doctor writes a script and you take it to the pharmacy / nursing store on base  and you pick which one you want :)

You have to get a prescription from your doctor first. They will be able to send it to wherever you want to get the breast pump like how in Southern California people just went to Target. It's super simple after the prescription is sent. The business you get it from and Tricare handle it from there.
Some hospitals do it all in house like Balboa but most just use the doctor->business method.ay least it's like this for the Marine Corps/Navy. Tricare is standard for all military branches though so its probably the same for you.

There are sites you can use. I personally like Aeroflow...you go on the website and fill out the application to see if you qualify (you will) and pick out the pump you want. They’ll contact your doctor and get the prescription, then mail you the pump. Super easy.

I used 1 natural way. You just put in all your information and the OB and clinic you go to and how far along you are or however old baby is. They will request the prescription themselves. You have lots of choices of pumps and you get a resupply of storage bags every month.

I went through the breastfeeding shop when I ordered my first pump. Everything is done online, I just had to email a picture/scan of my prescription. I said I wanted help picking a pump so they called me right after I sent the request and received my pump in the mail the next day.
