Black slug/diarrhea?

Question

I started taking an iron supplement a little over a week ago and now tonight I’m having black slug-like diarrhea. I’m 39 weeks. Is this because of the iron or a sign labor is coming soon.

I’m blaming the iron pills I’m having it too and I’m only 37 and a half weeks right now I’ve had it for a couple days and this past week I’ve gotten in the routine of taking my iron pills and now forgetting them
