How long was your first labor and delivery?

Question

Obviously every birth is different, but it’s nice as a FTM to hear other people’s stories. Also, how far along were you when you went into labor, or did you have to get induced?

Water broke at midnight, but no contractions. Labor started around 9am when I was put on pitocin.  Had my son at 8:40pm.

I first went into labor at 32 weeks, I remained hospitalized getting medication to stop the contractions until 34 weeks. Ending up having him a month early. I was in labor for 22 hours.

Painful period pain like braxton hicks the night before, didn't sleep much if at all, worse the next morning and Panadeine forte did nothing, my dad was there keeping track of everything, we estimated I was only in true labour for about 3 hours. My contractions were 20 seconds apart by the time we left for the hospital. My body automatically started pushing on the way there, about 5 or so minutes away. Waters broke just as I was about to get out of the car, was wheeled in a wheelchair by my ex and my sister, she hit the wrong button in the elevator and I flipped, haha. Literally 13 minutes after they got me into the delivery room I was holding my gorgeous daughter.

My water broke at 7:45 PM (I didnt know at the time I thought I just peed) went to sleep woke up having contractions got to the hospital at 3:45 am and had her at 4:13 am

I was at work and I felt so weird and off. Once I was off I went straight to bed and I was dilating over night. I woke up with contractions went to the hospital at 9 am was already 6 cm dilated and had him at 4:38 pm

My first was 2 hours and 20 minutes.

I had to be induced at 41 weeks. I was induced with the foley bulb and I was in labor for 28 hours with 40 minutes of pushing.
