I noticed my armpits and nipples have progressively gotten darker throughout my pregnancy. My armpits used to be white/smooth and now (in my third trimester) they're so dark/brown and sometimes I even get ingrown hair from shaving. My nipples/areolas also changed colour. Prior to pregnancy, they used to be pink and now they've gotten really dark/brown.

I heard this is normal during pregnancy. I'm hoping they go back to normal after pregnancy. Anyone else have the same issue? Does anyone use any creams during pregnancy/postpartum to change them back? Any cream recommendation?

Any moms that aren't first time moms that can confirm if they go back to normal naturally, after giving birth?
