Baby Athena Rose!

38+4...drank midwife brew at 4:30 am. Started having contractions around 9:30am....10:30 my water broke. Arrived at the hospital at 11:30am... ( 4cm 70% effaced )...got put into a room and labored till around 4pm...to find out I have a bulging sac of water. ( a second sac ) it broke on its own while I was on the birth ball around 5:30pm. Contractions hit hard after that. Finally at 7:19 pm...my precious baby girl was born. 7lbs 9oz, 20.5 inches long. Baby is happy & healthy.

Side note to the brew. I did have to loose bowel movements before my water broke, after that nothing. Baby's fluids were clear. She pooped & peed about 15-20 mins after birth.
