When to test?

Question

So I have conflicting information, one from my OBGYN who says first pee in the morning is the best. Whereas my fertility specialist suggests mid-day pee at noon. 
Who should I listen too?  So confused 😐

I test two times a day once around noon and another around 6-7pm

I tested about 10am and then again at 2pm when I was using the strips. I decided that was getting a bit ridiculous and switched to clear blue advanced digital which has you only test in the morning and we got pregnant that cycle but I think I had a longer surge than some people so my strips probably would have caught a positive the afternoon before the digital but I would have stopped bd a day sooner if that makes sense
