Spotting after BM?!?

Question

Can a bowel movement at 8 weeks pregnant cause some vaginal pink spotting? More than just a streak when I wiped. Have been slightly constipated the last couple of days. Saw the nurse practitioner this morning and saw the baby and heartbeat but still worried sick.

I thought I was the only one!!!! This is crazy! I’m about 6 weeks I think and this happens to me! I tried looking it up on the internet and nothing. I feel so much better know I’m not alone haha.

I had this all through my first trimester. Had a few scans because of it but have always been told unless you have pains or it turns heavy then not to worry! Mine stopped roughly around 14ish weeks x

I’ve had several bouts of spotting now - each time after a BM! From what I’ve read, it can be normal and can indicate that you have a sensitive cervix.
