Is my lo too little to take to the beach?

We want to go July 5th, he turns 2 months old the 2nd. If we do decide to bring him with us for the weekend, what are some things I should pack for him?

He’s not too little. Just make sure to keep him covered so he doesn’t get sunburnt or overheated. Some stores sell nice little tents specifically made for the beach. He’s too little for sunscreen, so don’t use it (even the baby kind) maybe a hat. Some brands make shirts out of the same material as swimsuits that can keep him covered but still pretty cool
