Help?

Question

I’m gonna call my doc as soon as it’s humanly possible but just woke up at 545am with bright pink spotting. Sex around 1130pm and it was somewhat painful. Anyone else have this and baby is ok?! 
I’m freaking a little.

You most.likely just irritated your cervix during sex. It's super common. Don't freak out. Just monitor it and make sure it doesn't increase .

Last week I didn’t even have sex and had brown and RED spotting, no cramping. I went to my doc and they did an ultrasound - everything was PERFECT. Morale of the story is some things irritate your cervix, like sex, but even if you don’t have sex your cervix is just extremely delicate and your body is making a lot of room for your baby and pushing stuff out. I hope you got some peace of mind - I know it’s absolutely terrifying ❤️

I agree, sex probably just irritated your cervix. It’s totally normal to spot after sex. It’s always scary when we see some sort of blood, but do your best not worry. Id put a call into your doctor when they open to help calm your fears :) I’ve had pink spotting twice with this pregnancy. Each time the first thing the doctor asks is “Have you recently had sex?” That’s how common it is! For me the answer was no and they never could find the source of spotting. But my baby is growing and healthy as can be :)

I have had some pink spotting in the second trimester, with or without sex. My baby is fine! She doesn’t know why I have the spotting (and really painful cramps) but on Monday the little dude was kicking the s**t out of my cervix repetitively. Possibly the cause of my spotting. Sometimes if we are more...vigorous... than other times, it will hurt and I’ll spot some the next day. Try to avoid positions where your SO hits your cervix directly. Shallower penetration will be your friend.

Happens to me almost every time. Last time was a lot and more red than before, so I asked my doctor for advice. My doctor said it was very common and not to worry unless I was soaking a pad or more per hour. I felt better getting checked out though! If you're super worried, don't be afraid to call your Dr office and talk to a nurse or your doctor. 😁 good luck girl!
