Do you believe in spirits and ghosts?

Who here believes in this, if so 
Why? 
&
If not, also why?
For me I’d say I do believe it but never have witness anything “extreme” my last crazy experience was when I was about 11-12

So when I lived with my dad this was I was 14 I’m 24 now. My dad has a farm and we were the 5th generation to live there. I was in the basement doing laundry when I heard someone say Kimberly and my middle name. I looked up the laundry shoot and all over the basement but couldn’t see anyone so I went upstairs and asked my dad what he wanted. He said he didn’t want me so I asked everyone else and no one said my name.  Currently I live next door to a funeral home and my toddler will wave at a corner in my apartment and there isn’t anyone there. I work at a nursing home and I could write a book on some of the stuff that has happened and iv seen.

Yes. I've had some experiences that I just can't explain. The creepiest experiences happened in the house I lived in 8 years ago. The first experience happened to my 100% skeptic husband. We were sleeping one night and he heard someone outside crying and saying help me, so he went outside and checked and no one was there. I heard the same thing a few nights later and checked and no one. Another time I had gone out to smoke a cigarette one morning and we had a futon on our back porch and there were hand prints from a child on the futon and I did not have a child at the time. That one made my skin crawl. Another time I was reading a book on the back porch and I saw who I thought was my husband walk up to the door and stand staring at me through the window. I waited for him to come out, still thinking it was my husband. I realized it wasn't him after a solid minute of just creepy staring, so I just waited until it was gone before I went back inside and sure enough, my husband was passed out, snoring away. I hated that house and was so glad to move. I've had a few more personal experiences over the years, but those are the scariest ones.

I’ve only had a few experiences only in one house. I just got married and I was 19 (I’m just about to turn 21 in August so wasn’t long ago). My husband and I moved into his sister in law’s grandma’s basement apartment. At first I got an uneasy feeling but brushed it off just because I was staying at a new place. It was older with wood paneling on all the walls but the kitchen. It was a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom, huge family room, kitchen, laundry room, dining area, and had a long hall way to the bathroom and master room. I hung out majority of my time in my room and by the bathroom. First thing that happened I was standing at looking at myself in the mirror next to the bathroom. I heard something say my name. I just looked toward the small 3/4 bathroom and walked to the kitchen where the entry way of the home is. My husband is an officer and was working night shifts so no one was home at the time. I just FaceTimed my mom to calm down mostly because I thought I was crazy. 
3 weeks or so go by and I was in the bathroom this time getting ready for bed and I heard someone clear as day say my name right outside the bathroom where the mirror was. I freaked out and went to the kitchen again. I didn’t sleep much that night I turned on how I met your mother in the bedroom and pretty much tossed and turned till my husband got home at 2 a.m. 
Then about a month goes by I have some insomnia and wake up at 3am typically and just stay up rest of the day. But this time I woke up same time as always but clear as day saw this tall skinny dark human shadow standing over me. I know it wasn’t sleep paralysis because I was able to move and I just laid their staring at it for what seemed like forever but really wasn’t that long. I turned over thinking “nope!) and snuggled up to my husband really tight. 
Then 3 months go by and I had some of my Cosmetologist school friends over for a movie night. I warned them before hand that some weird stuff has happened at this place. Of course they were skeptical. But we were watching the dvd on the Xbox and we had just started the movie maybe 15 mins in. Then the Xbox just turned off. The tv was still on though they screamed and I was fine because I was used to weird things happening. The Xbox remote was about a foot away from me and no one got up to turn the Xbox off. But I just turned it on and went back to the movie.
Come to find out my husband’s brother and sil lives there before us and had some pretty crappy experiences there also.

I’ve had about 3 ghost experiences, all equally as terrifying as each other. 
My old house was renovated, but the front portion was about 100 years old. Not too sure of any spooky history, but regardless it had a few people that had lived in it. I’ve always been pretty rational, and skeptical of the supernatural. I was about 11, and was in my backyard playing with my dogs who are super friendly. Suddenly, they all start barking, growling and whimpering looking at this massive pine tree we had. It grabs my attention and I look over, and leaning against the trunk as clear as day was a man in a dapper suit and what I would describe as a press hat. All white, and opaque so you could see through him slightly. I stared at him for a few seconds shocked, then immediately ran inside and locked the doors and started bawling my eyes out. I told my mum, of course she didn’t believe me but my dad is super religious (I’m not) and thought I was telling the truth. 
About a year later, in this same house an backyard AGAIN, my dad was having a cigarette and I was walking around with him. Just talking, normal chit chat in front of the garage. There was a light casting our shadows onto said garage door, my small 11-12 year old one and my dad’s larger one. In between us, an enormous human shadow appeared and it’s arms reached out in an attempt to almost grab my dad’s shadow. I panicked, and screamed and lunges at my dad quite literally tackling him to the ground. I told him what happened, but this time he didn’t believe me and thought it was a trick of the light. I saw it so vividly, though. 
The last, I didn’t see anything. Again, in the same house. It had been years since anything super scary happened, and by now I’m about 15 and a week away from moving out of my childhood home where all of these occurrences have taken place. I’m trying to go to bed, and I feel a hefty weight (I compare it to that of a 5 year old) sit on my legs. Now, I have a fat cat, so I give this the benefit of the doubt and keep my eyes shut thinking it’s her. The pressure on my legs gets heavier, and I look and my cat is NOT there. I try and go back to sleep, three more times and I feel the weight creep up my body. I was old enough not to freak out, but eventually I had to sleep in my mum’s bed with her because I was so terrified. Come to find, that morning my cat has been out all night. 
While living at that house, there was a little door that lead into the roof in my room...picture the door from Coraline. But in my room - not fun at all. I had a desk next to it to do my homework, and I’d always hear scratching from it. I would open it and it would stop, I even made my mum call someone to check if possums were living in the roof or if there were rats/mice. Nothing! 
In the old, front part of the house there was a lounge room no one really used with an old fireplace and detailing on the roof. From a very young age, I always felt a presence there. It was always cold, and I never EVER wanted to be alone in there during the day or night - even at 15. I’ve never felt that way about another room or place in my life. 
I’ve lived in 2 other places and am 18 now, and nothing similar has ever happened to me. You could blame it on a child’s imagination, but I know what I saw, felt and heard in that house 🤷🏼‍♀️

I believe 100%. I've only really had small occurrences though that could've been coincidence..but I like to think they weren't. Hours before my close aunt died this year, my Facebook memories popped up with me tagging her in a post talking about how our favorite movie was on lifetime. Then a couple days after she passed, a cardinal flew into my backyard and sat on my fence right as I walked into the kitchen. I've lived here 5 years and never once saw a cardinal..which they say is a loved one visiting you. I also had a dream a few days after she died, of she and I talking..and then I was able to say goodbye the way I wanted to and woke up crying. She was in a coma when I went to see her..so I never got to really talk to her and say a proper goodbye before she passed.

I have been on so many ghost tours and investigations around the world and have been to some truly creepy places but have had seen nothing. 
I’m 100% skeptic and anything I may have experienced can be easily explained.
It’s all to do with perception 😉😉
