Anyone had a walking epidural in previous birth?
I am 37w5d and have already discussed with my OB the high possibility of having a walking epidural. I gave birth to my first boy vaginally with a standard epidural and I simply got lucky it didn't end up to a c-cection (my previous OB was an absolute jerk and induced me at 40w just because I had lost my mucus plug with no dilation and no contractions!). I would wish for a totally natural birth with no drugs but I have a medical issue that prohibits it(a cavernoma, a benign tumour in the brain). So my current doctor suggested the walking epidural so that I will avoid the big tension of the pain and still have control of my body and my birth. It sounds ideal for me, has anyone tried it?
