Nexplanon

I’ve had the nexplanon implant for almost a year with no periods and it started out of no where super heavy. I have to wear both a tampon and a pad because of how much blood it is. Has anyone else had any problems with their periods being really heavy while on the birth control. I had a week of no bleeding and then started again yesterday 😩😩😩
