College choices

I recently got a scholarship for $48,000 to a school overseas. The only problem is, they do not have an art program (which is what i intended to major in)

So what I wanted to do was go to local community college, get my associates in art and design, then transfer to a nice art school. This would give me time to work while i study too.

My mom thinks I should take the scholarship, but I’m not too sure. Why waste time doing something I won’t like?

Your thoughts? I need some different perspectives.
