Would you be mad?

Bo

This should be a fun one.

So, the other day I was on the phone with my sister and we got on the topic the the house her and her boyfriend bought... And she told me what I considered a pretty funny story when they first applied for a home loan.

Her boyfriend went to check his credit score for the first time in a few years.. and it had suddenly gotten pretty high as it had been average before.. well I guess after some digging to figure it out since he's never had a loan for anything.. he found out someone in Chicago stole his identity and bought a home and a vehicle.. the guy had apparently been making his payments religiously and never missed a payment and was never late on a payment..

Now idk what he did about this situation as I was just genuinely impressed by the fact that his credit score wasn't harmed by this person. They laugh about it so I wondered..

What would you do in a situation like this?

Do you think the person should still get in trouble? Would you still be mad? If you think the person should get into trouble what do you think their punishment should be for this situation?
